How We Protect You
We made our policies by strictly following the UAE Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 and Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021.
In plainer terminology, it means the following:
- Your data stays within the UAE: We do not share your medical files with any third-party firm or any other country. Everything stays localized and secure within the Emirates.
- Strict Confidentiality: Your health files are only accessible to the medical professionals to view. No one else can see your medical records.
- Explicit Content: We will only share your personal details with the insurance company, unless you have formally given us a green signal or approval.
What We Collect and Why
To deliver hospital-grade care in your home, we need to gather some information about you:

Your Rights as a Patient
The UAE law gives the patient ultimate authority over their data. You have the right to:
- Access your records: You just need to ask if you want to see your medical history.
- Correct Mistakes: If you find a mistake in any of your contact information, you can point it out, and we will fix it immediately.
- Withdraw Consent: If you change your mind at any interval of time about how to use your data, you can. Assuming to the fact that we may retain some records for legal medical purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We don’t just collect data for the sake of it. Everything we ask has its utility in the treatment and has a specific job:
- Primary Care: We use your details to get a doctor to your door. To manage treatment. To follow up on your recovery.
- Service Management: On occasion, we may use your anonymized data, with your name and identity removed, to train our team and make our home visits even better.
- The ‘Lawful’ Limit: As per the UAE law, we can solely use your information for healthcare and healthcare only. The law puts a strict purpose limitation.
The Legal Ground We Stand On
We process your data based on the following four pillars:
- Your Consent: Your approval is necessary, without which no one can proceed, especially when it comes to sensitive health history.
- Our Contract: This info is important because it helps us actually deliver the service right at your doorstep.
- Legal Duty: We may share your data with the DHA. Sometimes we are required by the DHA to report specific health data.
- Emergency Situations: We may share your data and reports in rare cases. Especially when your vital interests, such as your life, are at risk.
Sharing and Keeping Things Private
We are incredibly picky about who sees your records. We only share info with the following, if needed to.
- Your Care Team: The specific doctors or nurses who are visiting your home can see the records.
- Trusted Third Parties: If you need a blood test or a prescription, we only share what’s necessary with the lab or pharmacy (with your explicit permission).
- No Selling: It’s taboo out here. We do not, and will never, sell your data to third parties.
- Data Localization: By UAE law, under edFeral Law No. 2/2019, your health data stays within the UAE. It can’t be, and we don’t send it abroad until and unless there is a very specific legal approval.
Keeping Your Data Locked Down
Security for us is non-negotiable. It is not just a digital thing but also a physical thing for us, too.
- Tech Security: We keep everything encrypted and store it behind strict access controls.
- Team Training: We make sure that each and every staff member signs a confidentiality agreement. Our staff undergoes regular privacy training.
- On-the-Road Safety: When our teams are in your home, they are trained to handle your physical files and digital tablets with total discretion.
How Long Do We Keep Your Files?
Healthcare records have a long life. By law, we often have to keep records for a minimum of 25 years. But when the legal requirement is up, and we no longer need that data. We securely and anonymously delete the data.

Protecting Our Youngest Patients (Children Policy)
We take the privacy of minors very seriously. For any patients under the age of 18, we require explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian before collecting any health data. Before conducting a home visit, we do the same.
If you are the parent of the child, you have full control over your child’s records. You can exercise all patient rights on their behalf.
In the Unlikely Event of a Data Breach
We use top-tier encryption. But we are ever prepared for every scenario. If an unlikely security breach ever occurs, that has the potential of risking your personal information. We have a strict protocol set for you.
We immediately lock down the affected systems to prevent further issues and start an investigation. Relevant UAE health authorities will be notified as soon as possible. We also provide clear steps on how to protect yourself. We provide a dedicated point of contact to answer any questions during the recovery process.
Keeping this Policy Current
Laws and technology change. So will this policy. When we make significant updates, we will post the new version on our website and update the ‘effective date’ at the top. By continuing to use our services after these changes, you are acknowledging the updated terms.
